Yes you're not wrong, The government wont be too fussed because it will get rid of congestion & it will keep the UK within it's YOY emission limits for NetZero. There's also another dilemma! When the 2030 new car ICE ban cometh & they want mass adoption of electric vehicles what will happen to the car market when hundreds of thousands of motorist cant afford new BEV's? Will the new car market shrink or even collapse because of the high prices & low sales.
Weird times ahead.
