The Diesel models bleed themselves just about, make sure the heater is on and if necessary undo the bleed on the hose until it expels any air and you shouldn't have any problems.

I'm fitting an FBH tomorrow for a customer and the coolant loss isn't normally anything to worry about.

It's not a V6 but if it was I can't see what all the fuss is about, they're normally not that difficult
