Beautiful birds. Unless you're a sparrow. We have a female hanging around here, but she’s never seemed to interfere with the dozen or so sky-rats which perch on the roof next door. I’ve spent quite a bit of time fantasising about various methods of mass destruction, as they **** in my pond while drinking from it, but haven't come up with the perfect solution yet.
I have an enormous Maine Coon, but he can’t be bothered killing them. Every so often, I find a dead one lying in one of the gardens in our street and he gets the blame, but he sleeps all day, and has never been a hunter.
Just recently, I've seen several of them lying dead in the street, very few on the roof, and wonder if somebody’s poisoning them
Hate them. And I’m a bit of a bird lover…
