I have a Rover 75 facelift edition with a horrible faded badge on the grille. I've just bought a proper stick on badge to replace it - to look smart again.

Should be fairly simple to peel off the old one and then stick the new one on in its place? I expect some white spirit or something might be an idea to clean the surface...?
Don’t want to depress you, but I bought a sticker type one on eBay and the colour peeled off it in about a month. Then it fell off. Hope you have more luck!

Trouble is, the older cars had a proper metal badge which could be removed from the grille and replaced, but with the shapeshifters the whole grille is one piece, including a nasty little sticker which isn't really meant to be replaced, I reckon …
