It appears you have the intention of sorting out the fluids, as well as that pollen filter, in the Spring. So if all you are doing is starting it up, just keep an eye on the "loss" of fluids until then, once topped up to the correct maximum level.
However, I think that a draining and filling of the coolant may clear that surging.
