I think that a remap on the KV6 would do good in two directions: enhancing the advance & improving mpg. Steve Abbott - Saws Tuning - 3 years ago has made a fantastic job on my modest 25 1.4 4 cyl. and I'm gobsmacked, as if I had a ZR or a 25 1.6, so much so that I can't recognize the engine!

This is the first time I've ever read that you can/maybe should remap the KV6. To what effect? Has anyone done it? Will anyone do it? Downsides?
