I'm still very pleased with my 2.5 KV6 even with the auto box.
It's perfectly true that she's more reactive after 3200 revs, but that'll do for me. Put it in sport mode and that's better.
Now I'm even playing with the 4-3-2 positions: very helpful in the uphills & downhills and even to brake far more efficiently when arriving at a roundabout provided you're not closely followed by a bird minded foolhardy stop lights being off as a consequence.
Both my VIS motors were swapped less than 2 years ago for new ones.
I think that a remap on the KV6 would do good in two directions: enhancing the advance & improving mpg. Steve Abbott - Saws Tuning - 3 years ago has made a fantastic job on my modest 25 1.4 4 cyl. and I'm gobsmacked, as if I had a ZR or a 25 1.6, so much so that I can't recognize the engine!
