You say "complete" Joe. Can you confirm that what you bought included the control box? What is printed on the control box cover? Did you buy it from a seller based in Australia?

Yes, included control box, motor, fan blades, shroud , from a Rover 75 that was been wrecked in Melbourne.
Has a silver resistor on it.
I cannot recall what was printed the control box cover, i'll have a look when putting on the Gold resistor.
I read also on Google that Volvo fans also come on at 105
I thought it starting at 105 was strange, but i thought maybe thats what later fans did?
There where some marking on the back of the fan/shroud, from a highlighter pen, that did not appear to have been done in the factory, almost pointing "this goes here, that goes there" re-alignment note almost??
Again i'll only recall when i disassemble.
What going on with my fan??
