If you do,You have to remove the lower panel trim that covers the underneath of the steering column and also the panel that covers underneath the pedals.
You then look under neath and you will see a white tube follow that and it will lead to the sensor this pulls out and you will (may) see a fluff encrusted sensor.
And as per normal refitting is a reverse of this.....
