A few weeks ago I read a thread on here about someone whose heater in the car kept varying in temperature thru the vents.They found a "Sensor" behind the small oval vent that is to the left of the steering wheel on the dash which I believed to be some sort of cabin temp control.Having removed it it was found to be clogged up with fluff etc.
Having the same problem I decided to have a look and lo and behold the sensor on my car was covered in fluff and the odd dead spider .A good clean with a cotton Bud and a good blow thru and replaced it.I have yet to try the car to see if the temp stays stable....
Or maybe it has nothing to do with cabin Temp..
