The plan is for the club to hold it's first National Meet of 2012 in the Midlands at a venue to be confirmed (as Gaydon have put their prices up somewhat since our last visit), as per our announcement earlier in the year. It will be on the Sunday following POL.
However the POL for 2012 as organised and run by The Austin Federation have graciously allowed the Rover 75 and MG ZT Owners Club to have a specific area in which to park for any members wishing to do so.
This would mean that anyone who wanted to make a weekend of it could use both days to meet and chat, and the car parking area set aside for us would be large enough to accomodate up to 100 or so cars.
The POL event as a whole is independent to the club, however we will have a 'presence' there by which I mean a gazebo with merchandise and flyers etc for any interested parties who wander over to see the 75s and ZTs parked up, but that is all. No speeches, raffles etc, just a point of reference for anyone interested in the owners club.
POL is not a club organised enterprise, we would simply be guests of the official organisers in much the same way the other car clubs are at the event currently.
