How did you determine the filtration properties of each ? (the K&N discussed here is Not a Foam cone type)
I don't claim to know - however, the hype claims the K&N to have an equal level of filtration to a standard filter but with less restriction due to the materials/design/technical properties
better Airflow is a Benefit in any Combustion Engine
r.e noticeable performance benefits (real world driving, not racing performance) changing a standard filter old for new can result in a noticeable improvement in the Cars performance - I'm sure we can all agree
it's simple Physamatics with the K&N Panel Filter
I'm sure folks just repeat what they hear without any Real World Experience
a bit like what happens with the K-series
