I've owned/operated over 30 cars in my time, my 75 tourer being the latest, and one of the best. If I had to choose something different, I would go back to my former Toyota Soarers (both were the twin turbo 2.5 litre models). Solidly built, great performance, big for a coupe. Even older than Rover 75, but a very satisfying car to drive.

Failing which, I would revert to my old favourite E34 M5 - another very well built car, though perhaps a tad expensive to maintain these days. Make sure the driver's window is clear, as you'll often be looking out of it whilst navigating...
