He he, in all seriousness I would remove the airbag in the prescribed way before attempting anything, tbh some people say they shouldnt be removed without an expert mechanic wh has had training etc and taken a GCSE in static electricity!

The air bag will be removed.....
I have removed my airbag more times than i care to remember for various reasons...
15 minutes battery disconnection for the capacitater to discharge......
