There's not been a great deal to report on the 75 as of late, as it did plenty of miles over the course of the summer, without any hiccups, other than the exhaust beginning to blow rather spectacularly while on a weekend away in the Lake District at the end of August. On my return, I replaced the back box with a Bosal item, which, to my mind, is excellent from a refinement perspective.
The MOT was last week, and it required quite a few bits and bobs, some I expected, others I didn't. I knew the handbrake was becoming an issue, and that it needed new rear discs, so it's had new rear discs, pads, handbrake shoes, and a handbrake compensator. It also transpired, when looking at the discs that it had a pair of cracked rear springs, which have also both been replaced, as have the droplinks for the anti-rolll bar, and a one front wishbone. The transformation in the way the car drives is impressive! It suddenly feels like a much fresher car, once again, ready to cover many more miles.
At the same time, it's had a service, and no nasties were thrown up there.
