I measured the blue/red signal for an AC command just for those without an oscilloscope.

AC on
The voltage is approx 6.5v DC (obviously in reality this is a square wave)


AC off
Voltage is 8.5v

Quite possible ,you have measured the mean value :





About the ECU ,i don't know the diagram ,i only suppose they are open drains.

so we could earth the output without damage
