Whatever lights you fit to the footwells should have a "live" & an "earth". Take the live from the interior light, & then fit the earth to the chassis. If you look to the right of the fusebox, you'll see a couple of threaded holes, fit the earth to an 8mm, I think, bolt & screw it into the hole
