Hi Simon.
The photo's & wires that I myself & Dave are referring too, I have marked them with a blue dot, these usually come from the control box and to the plug ends of the fan motor loom, then onto the cars main loom in the wing.

I have no idea what the white block is, but the wires seem to be going into it then on to the fan motor, at first glance thought a Four wire 3 speed control box and its wiring had been used to try and fit a two speed fan from another car but looking at it more it seems the control box is in fact from a two wire 2 speed fan, so I don't really understand why all the wire changing as been done?
