Hi Dave,
Do you mean that mystery item (to me) which looks like a massive terminal block in the top left-hand corner of the photo? If so, I can see a brown cable but the other one seems to be sheathed throughout its visible length.
Also, the brown wire appears to be the incoming positive high current supply so the mystery item can't be an earthing point.
