Dads Adult care is getting to be a hot topic.
He's had these falls due to him trying to walk when he can't , he's also now been diagnosed with Vascular Demntia
.
The current care home have him on 1 to 1 care , probably cover themselves, this costs a bomb, so social services keep pointing out ! .and are trying and failing to find a local alternative .
They have given one option so far as all homes locally don't /won't supply the level of care he needs, so they are offering a home nearly a hour drive each way.
Told them this is not suitable and to try again .
I had already drafted a letter to my Mp ( and friend) who happens to be
Co-Chair All Party Parliamentary Group for Adult Social Care
