27,000?, the only new car I've ever owned in my life was bought in 1996, a 2.2 Vtec Honda Accord in Pirates Black.............22,000 on the road, and bought from Springfield Honda in Shieldfield because of the inflexibility of the Rover salesman at Buist in Heaton regarding a deal on a new 620Ti
At least both cars were made in the UK
