I've been poked and prodded more in the last few years than I have in the rest of my life, scanned more often than the Starship Enterprise as well Haven't had an echo cardiogram but with all procedures there are risks, according to the NHS website there is a small chance it might induce a heart attack but if it does you couldn't be in a better place. They wouldn't want an echo cardiogram unless they thought it was necessary.

Personally I have a liver biopsy to look forward to (not) in a couple of weeks.
