Yeah same Jatco TCM in the Freelander 1 and the 75/ZT.

The Siemens MS 43 ECU was used in the BMW E39 and BMW E46. Some neat info here: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=929951

in the Freelander the MS 43 does have OBD2 for troublecodes, but in that mode, there are very very very few PID for live data. (engine rpm temp, a few more things)

Can you do work with just an ECU by itself or you need the whole car?
