Default Rover 75 CDT Luk flywheel bearing ( Koyo 6002)

Hello,

I am in France and own a 2002 Rover 75 cdt saloon. It is a version with leather seats and "Wedgewood blue" paint.
I got it in March 2018 on the occasion of my professional retirement and it totaled 181,000 km.
Very quickly I noticed that the clutch was extremely hard to move and that the useful stroke of the pedal was decreasing, and for a year now I have had to bleed the hydraulic circuit every 2-3 months!
Now the counter reads 225000 km and I decided to buy the Luk clutch kit with slave cyl. and the dual-mass flywheel and all the oil seals, including the slave cylinder guide tube (at MGDRS) and its "o-ring".

My question: on the RB site, we notice a flywheel bearing STC 2079, a waterproof Koyo 6002 which should in principle guide the main shaft of the gearbox (so a " spigot bush ") However this mainshaft is splined to its end and it seems much bigger than the 15mm inside diameter of the bearing!
Please is this bearing really useful, or is it an error in the RB catalogue?
The mechanic started the job yesterday and I have provided this bearing in supplies...Hope everything goes well and the slave cylinder lasts, because I've read some disturbing things about it!
Good Sunday to all...
