France took a reasoned approach to Nuclear power and went ahead and I think? generate 70% of their requirements. We caved in to the anti-nuclear lobbists etc and lost any advantage of being the leader by doing so. Our nuclear industry and staff whithered away. And many of those who were anti and their organisations now talk of a mixed power policy. hypocrites??? No just stupid "I know best" bu--ers. Chris.S.
