Perfect grammar is essential only if being taught. Context is everything. It helps when a limited but worthy correspondent joins a forum of any kind to express their view. It's the view that's important and those who would dare to be critics tend to miss the point unless, of course, they are being humorous.
Anyone who is capable of good grammar can tell from context what the sense is. The result is that general levels will rise naturally. Anyway, alternative grammar, rather than bad is how the language develops. American English is now in wider use than the original! Or at least, it seems to be!
