Good analysis in that report. The problem IMO that became insurmountable was the merger forced by Wilson and Benn of Leyland and BMH.

Imagine now having two Nissan dealers in the same town with customers able to wander from one to the other to get a deal?

Michael Edwards tried to sort the mess out but it was never going to work.
