I would source the apk's of the apps you want to install and use an USB stick to put them on the unit. Note that the cpu is already stressed out by the default apps on the unit so again performance will be mediocre.

Thanks for this - wondered why I couldn't connect to my WiFi. I wanted Amazon Music on it but have instead used an sd card and various apk's as you suggest. I don't just dislike the mediocrity of this unit - I downright hate it but it came with the car and I'm skint so stuck with it lol.
