Firstly its a 5 hour job - so what is their hourly rate.

Secondly i would buy a Borg and Beck/lUK 3 piece kit from DMGRS - approx £215 - its good quality and ask them to fit.

Thirdly - why does the DMF need replacing - how have they reached that conclusion - it is generally held that the DMF on these cars is very robust unlike some - the DMF will be expensive. Andy Willi who specialises in MGR clutches told me in 1200 or so clutch jobs on MGR cars he had seen only 2 or 3 failed DMF's.
