That is how they all start to fail, with air line splits, then eventually they fail completely.

The main concern I have at the present time though is the fact that some of the cars have the 1.8 Chinese mount fitted and it looks like the small mount is very weak to say the least, also it looks like modifying the Jag/Mondeo mount also compromises the small mount.
These are the videos where I tested the mounts in turn while clamped in the vice sort of simulating it being bolted to the subframe, and the bracket bolted to the small bush.
First I tested the Chinese 1.8 & the 2.0 Chinese mounts together.

Next I tested the Jag /Mondeo mount in the vice and bolted to its bracket.

Then it was the turn of the original T mount.

Lastly I tested the Petrol power flex mount, just because I have one, it will not reflect on how it would work on a diesel engine, but at least puts the members minds at rest whom have it on their petrol car.
