I've maybe got a couple.
It's just occurred to me why these are constantly coming off.
Damp in the boot causes the chipboard bootboard to swell and pushes off the bottom disc. A good precaution when replacing the boot board would be to yacht varnish the board (after the holes for the clips have been drilled).
