You've not neen paying attention James. Many thousands of miles travelled between Manchester and my late parents house in Weymouth. Holidays taken there too, before my parents moved there. I remember Lodmoor before it was developed. I explored the Nothe fort before it was restored and open to the public. I had vacation jobs at Devenish Brewery - now the Time Walk? and at the railway station. I've accompanied boat trains to the quay. I've taken a day trip to Calais by ferry. Oh, and I once did Manchester to Weymouth and back in 12 hours with a 2 hour break - when motorways weren't busy 24 hours a day.
It's 10 years since I've been to Weymouth so it is the first time I've been down in the 75, but my previous cars practically knew their way on their own.
