Thought it was an E46 rear rose tool that would do the trick?

How about this?? (the cup certainly looks much deeper) The pics certainly suggest it is the same bush!

Ps Brian, when you sucessfully got your subframe suspension arm bolts out, did you try and replace the nuts, or did you leave alone?

PPS, does anyone bother to replace the lower normal bush that the lower arm connects to?
