Saw it coming but the loudness was still a shock.
Just fixed a puncture on my sons bike. Pumped the tyre up and left it.
As I turned back to look at it I saw the side of the tyre coming off the rim and the inner tube poking out. Thought I'd better release some air when lots more tyre came off and ............bang
Glad I had not made a move to go back to the wheel
The tube is beyond a puncture repair kit now
