Back fasteners gremlin sorted
My genuine fuse box cover back fasteners being a little too short, I've solved the problem making one with two of them, a thread inside and a good glue maintaining both parts together.
In the end I've added 10mm to the initial length, increased from 23mm to 33. Not very pretty, but solid & efficient:

As you may notice, the mechanic (?) who changed the carpet wasn't a delicate expert when cutting it around the holes...
But do you have eyes at the end of your toes, don't you?
Nevertheless it works!
