So I've done 1k mls during the last week and I noticed that my steering column & wheel were juddering when pushing rather hard on the brake pad.
It was weird because I haven't noticed that problem until the week before with my worn Contour alloys with their brand new Goodyear!
But suddenly I'd an idea
Just before departing, I'd put on my new nice Crown alloys with their rather used & poor Chinese tyres. The latter yet acceptable in the middle, but unequally worn on the edges. I've put the less good ones on the front and the better on the back.
One more precision: front disks & pads were brand new in September 2017 & the back ones were changed for new ones 2 months ago by my skilful mechanic.
Nevertheless brakes are very good & never failed even in front of the deer 3 days ago!
Could that be those uneven Chinese tyres?
No need to say I'd intended to have the tyres swapped and put the good ones on the good alloys.
