Default the typhoon's back on the road

The Typhoon passed its MOT today after being off the road since January.

The MOT expired at the end of Jan and decided to keep it off the road to sort some issues such as the leaking HP pump (many thanks to Mickeyboy for a good replacement working HP pump), replacement injectors (had some issues with them for some time due to previously having a tuning chip fitted), and some other little bits and bobs.

Original plan was to work on the car around March/April when the weather improved and then get it back on the road soon after. However due to the lockdown and there being no shows to take it to or many other chances to actually use it, I ended up putting off the jobs until over the last month.

Was so nice to drive it properly for the first time. Hadn't actually driven it properly on the road since the return journey from the NEC classic car show in November last year. Has been in the garage since. Couple small advisory jobs to do on it but glad its back on the road!

Haven't posted any pics of it on here for some time, so here's a couple older pics and also some taken tonight to show how different the colour can look in different lighting 😎
