I know what you mean and yes I could do that, but so much easier to just be able to ring a breakdown company and have them deal fully with the whole package as one.
I don't think it is such a niche requirement. The 'take you and your car home' package, is rather useless if they abandon your prize caravan far from home. I would suggest it is an essential for anyone who takes touring caravan or camper holidays.
