Must agree with Typhoon190 if you've fixed the air leaks the engine shouldn't be running lumpy. If you have disturbed the initial motor setting on the balance (vertical) motor then ensure the flap is in the open position and run with the motor unplugged. As for unsetting the main ECU - I think you can forget that, something else is going on here.

Must admit when I read genpk's post I thought "what's he on about?" and went out to look at one of my V6s. I suppose I've fitted 50+ motors and never disconnected that pipe.

Got four motors myself that I'll be sending off to Stocktake in the next few days, I know there are cheap motors available now but none with his modifications or his after sales service.
