Hi Geoff.
Cut the hose coming from the EGR to the solenoid then add a solid bar about 25mm long insert into both ends of the small hose that will block it off.

I finished three manifolds today and they all have the small hose lead with a block bar inserted so when fitted the hose from the solenoid just pushes onto it.
