When I first bought the Bear the online insurance quote was £6,600 for my Essex post code. For Allen’s post code in Saltash that dropped to £2,250. Take away the supercharger, still with Allen, and the quote dropped to £600.
Banana is no longer in her standard guise. She has modifications, which I list. That goes for the Bear as well.
So compared with your insurance mine will always be higher. Plus take in consideration my age and medical conditions.
I’m happy with the quotes as my insurance is also “all in”. All the extras like breakdown, lost keys, curtesy car, legal fees, personal insurance is all included in the price.

The Postcode Lottery and not the game, is the worst thing as I know that insuring a car anywhere in London is ridiculous.
Fair enough 'Bear' is the problem being supercharged but maybe then it would be better to try a Broker as it is a specialist vehicle.
Not all vehicles can be insured via the normal route especially when trying to get the best price.
The 'all in' approach the most expensive way of doing this, I have this but do it myself.
But so long as you're happy then that's the main thing.
I like the challenge every year of getting the best price for my car giving me the extras for as near as I can for free!
