I often start the day with a banana which to save on the dish washing I slice up with the spoon with which I eat it. I sprinkling a little sugar over the slices in a cereal bowl, which I use to slice up the banana in to further save on the dish washing, and add one wheatabix over which I also sprinkle a little sugar. I then pour a little chilled milk over the contents of the cereal bowl and voila!
Bit of an acquired taste like most if not all things edible but it was my late mother who put the banana breakfast idea into my thoughts after she was recommended banana on toast (yeuk!) for her declining health which required many meds for things such as cholesterol control, blood circulation and pressure etc..
