It sure is Andy, it effects some more than others I find. My Tracey for example, she can eat anything and not put an ounce of weight on. She will eat a whole pack of 5x cherry doughnuts in one day and not think twice about it, a whole large cherry pie in one sitting, a huge roast dinner and she still stays a petite size 8 go figure that one. lol

What a gift it is to have a fast metabolism...

Have you tried the bags of frozen peas on your testicles? ....... apologies to the ladies following the lounge.
Good evening Phil, glad to hear you still have a sense of humour, you must be feeling better. One day at a time seems to be the best way when allowing the body to recover, the secret is not to think too far ahead and keep positive.

That nerve block injection, I'm still in two minds on whether to go for it or not. Its not until end of June, and the fact they say the injection will only bring short-term relief, I somewhat find it may all be a waste of time.

I have a specialist to see at Southampton Hospital at the end of July, this is to talk about microsurgical cord denervation, this sounds a bit more promising, but somewhat scary if I do say so myself.

However! On another positive note Phil, I've been using/taking several spices with meals which seems to be helping the problem. This was thanks to a fellow sufferer over on the Men's Health forum, he advised to use turmeric powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and garlic mixed with herbs. It seems to have taken the edge off things, it helps clean the blood, a bit like a detox. I guest these spices have their medical properties which seems to reduce inflammation, it gives me a break from having to live on pain medication all the time. The only downside is... if you take too much of this mix, you end up with an awful headache.

Its good to see you posting again Phil.
