Your best bet is to delete the entire drive by re installing your operating system to eradicate any nasties this "download" has put on your machine.
Then go on line after and change all of your usual passwords for everything!!
If software has made it onto your machine then they may already be tunnelling into your online banking, ebay, forum accounts, paypal, etc...
Change the passwords via a different PC ..
even consider a specialist drive formatter which overwrites every bit on the drive to flush out code hidden on hidden partitions etc,
