Default Freelander

Congrats on getting a freelander. Whatever anyone says, they are great motors. I bough our last one new in 2003 and sold it last year to buy the ZT. Remember to change the breather filter if you don't know its been done as main dealers don't seem to change it as routine servicing. I always ran with steel wheels with 15" tyres for the winter and kept alloys for the Summer. I do have a spare set, but probably too far away from you! Remember to be careful opening the rear door as you need to allow time for the glass to drop.If you are fitting towing electrics, there is a dedicated socket tucked behind the rear trim and you don't seem to need any of the complicated can bus electrics like the ZT/75. All the best, Dave
