Thanks for the clarification Russ. Steve's words specifically were "not allowed" and it's clear from your explanation that Rover didn't have the degree of control over the dealers that those words indicate.

I agree that's to be expected at an
event, but that's not the same as dealer launch cars such as yours and my Wedgwood Blue Connoisseurs made in large numbers and all identical.
