Personally, I am an advocate for Paint Protection. I am not an advocate for Ceramic Coating.
Why I don't believe in Ceramic Coating for my own cars:
Yes, Ceramic Coatings will last a long time, but they don't last forever.
I think I can get better long-term protection by applying my own sealant once or twice per year.
They are strongly "sold" -- with many dubious claims (e.g. prevent rock chips -- no way a ceramic coating will do that; for that you need PPF). And in my experience, anything that requires such a strong sales effort is not worth the cost.
