Hi Everybody

I have a diesel leak drivers side just in front of rear wheel checked underneath and small pump thing on a bracket just dropped down with a wire attached to it, Its totally corroded and leaking first question what it please ? also can i just bypass it temporary as i havent another to replace it ? and does it matter leaving the wire disconnected.
