Just to say hi as I've just signed up. My dad used to be on here I believe , I think his avatar was ukelelepete. Sadly he died last year and now I am the proud owner of his car , a Rover V8 saloon. Sure I will be looking for help at some point and I look forward to chatting with you further

If anyone here knew my dad and would like to know more , send me a private message and I will fill you in.

The Rover is VIN 709 , he had this and also a V6. I kept the private plate off the V6 and put it on the V8 so it is now reg no P 88 RAB .

I will keep the V8 for posterity but I haven't got room for the V6 and i'll be selling that shortly. Anyone interested keep an eye out in that forum as i'll probably put it up there soonish.
