I'm unimpressed with the registrar dealing with the ongoing thing with my liver. He told me I had scarring (cirrhosis) on my liver, no further info, felt numb on the way home. Speaking to my own GP I was surprised to be told yes there's scarring on my liver but all the liver function tests are perfectly normal
I challenged the registrar about that at the last appointment, oh yes, your liver is still functioning perfectly normally and provided you are careful there's no reason why that should change
Why the hell didn't he say that before, being told I had cirrhosis felt like a death sentence but now I know despite scarring the liver is working fine.
